MOSQUITO BARRIER RIDS YOUR YARD OF MOSQUITOES, TICKS AND FLEAS ALL IN ONE SPRAYING

Mosquito Barrier is a very, very strong liquid garlic that is diluted into water and sprayed on grass, shrubs, flowers and any trees in the area. The odor disappears in about 30 minutes. It kills and chases mosquitoes, ticks and fleas out of your yard and away from your house immediately upon spraying and it keeps them away for up to 4 weeks and longer. Occasionally, just two sprayings are sufficient for the entire summer. Mosquito Barrier is all natural, contains no poisons and is not harmful to children, pets or plants.

HOW MOSQUITO BARRIER WORKS:

Mosquito Barrier is a very strong liquid garlic made from very potent garlic cloves. Garlic has a natural sulfur which deters insects, including mosquitoes, ticks and fleas. Garlic juice has been used for over a hundred years on garden plants to keep insects away. It's the sulfur that the insects don't like.

Fact is, the sulfur can be (and is) toxic in increased dosages of garlic juice. The juice does not harm humans or pets or plants, but to small insects it can be deadly. The odor of it chases them out of the area and they stay away - for as long as they can detect the odor. While the odor of sprayed garlic juice soon becomes undetectable to humans, the insects will still detect it. Insects have a very heightened olfactory sense - as high as 10,000 times better than humans. They can detect the sulfur and garlic extract for much longer periods of time and will stay away from the sprayed area for up to a month or more.

Additionally, Mosquito Barrier, when mixed with canola oil or soybean oil plus the water, coats any standing water in the area with a very thin film of natural oil, including some garlic oil which is present in the garlic juice. This oil suffocates the mosquito larvae which are developing in any standing water.

Mosquito Barrier is a three-pronged attack accomplished with just one spraying:

  1. It kills the adult mosquitoes on contact.

  2. The garlic coated plants keep mosquitoes out of the area.

  3. It suffocates any mosquito larvae in standing water, such as puddles, under decks, water in tin cans or depressions in lawn, etc.

MOSQUITO FACTS:

Mosquitoes are "born" in standing water, mud, ponds, tin cans, under decks, puddles and old tires, etc. Hundreds of thousands are "born" each day in your area during infestations.

Worldwide there are approximately 3,300 species of mosquitoes. In North America (north of Mexico) we have 167 species and subspecies. Only the female bites you because the "beak" on the male mosquito is not built in a way that it can bite you. Mosquitoes rarely travel farther than 300 feet from their birthplace. They like dark areas and will suck the juice out of plants in order to live - including tree leaves, grass, shrubs, etc.

Spraying poisons kills adults present today, but more are born tomorrow and you must spray poisons again tomorrow. Ideally, a spray kills all mosquitoes present in an area and prevents the birth of new ones. Most importantly, mosquitoes from adjacent areas will be repelled by the sulfurous odor (undetectable to humans) that coats the plants they are trying to feed on.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLYING MOSQUITO BARRIER

The best spraying time is 8AM to 11AM or late in the afternoon (5PM to 8PM). Avoid spraying in the heat of the day and do not spray if rain is predicted within 48 hours. When applying Mosquito Barrier with the Automatic Sprinkler Apparatus for Pesticide/fertilizer Model 1028-1, use metering cap #4.  Use 10 ounces of Mosquito Barrier for each sprinkler zone under normal mosquito infestations. When there is heavier than normal mosquito infestation, increase the amount of Mosquito Barrier to achieve desired results. 10 ounces of Canola, Soy Bean, or Cotton Seed oils, (the recommended vegetable oils) can be added.  1 tablespoon of Palmolive liquid dishwashing soap or (as an alternative) 1 tablespoon of insecticide soap (available from local nurseries) may be added.
