Q: What's the difference between Model 1028-1 and Model 1045-1 1/4?
A: Other than size, for a Sprinkler system with a water flow rate of 6-28 GPM per zone use Model 1028-1. For a larger water flow rate of 18-45 GPM per zone use Model 1045-1 1/4.

Q: What fertilizer does the Apparatus use?
A: Liquid or water-soluble

Q: Is an Apparatus required for each zone?
A: No, one Apparatus per system.

Q: How much water-soluble fertilizer do you use per zone?
A: Model 1028-1 uses 1 lb. and Model 1045-1 1/4 uses 2 lbs. This will fertilize one zone in 1 minute.

Q: How much liquid fertilizer do you use per zone?
A: Model 1028-1 uses 2 cups and Model 1045-1 1/4 uses 4 cups. More or less may be used as needed.

Q: Where are these water soluble and liquid fertilizers sold?
A: They are sold at most hardware stores, Lesco, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Home Depot, Lowe's and many other locations.

Q: How many metering caps come with the Apparatus?
A: Five metering caps

Q: How long does it take to operate the Apparatus?
A: It takes about 1 to 2 minute per sprinkler zone to fertilize and pesticide. (Fertilize 4 zones in about 5 minutes)

Q: Can you use oil-based additives?
A: Yes, oil-based additives may be used.

Q: Can you install the 1 inch A.S.A.P. Model 1028 into a larger 1 1/4" or 1 1/2" PVC pipe.
A: Yes, providing you have less than 28 gallons per minute per zone flow rate.

Q: Can the Apparatus be installed in the sprinkler system's direct line?
A: Yes

Q: How long does it take to install?
A: The average system takes about 10-15 minutes.
